Clare Edwards
Acupuncturist

Clare Edwards, Lic Ac, B.Sc. (Hons), AAC
Clare is a qualified acupuncturist specialising in women’s health and menopause. She studied for a B.Sc. (Hons) in Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.
With a keen interest in the menopause, Clare’s dissertation explored the effectiveness of acupuncture in treating symptoms of cognitive dysfunction: brain fog, concentration issues, poor memory, challenges with verbal recall, and processing difficulties in peri-menopausal and menopausal females. Clare describes her research: “I wanted to add to the body of research that will ultimately help women navigate this life phase – successfully and ideally, seamlessly. Menopause is a natural process; adverse symptoms are not.”
Clare is accustomed to working in partnership with other healthcare professionals to achieve the desired outcomes for her clients and is looking forward to joining the team at Studio 17 Health Hub.
Before venturing into acupuncture, Clare enjoyed a career in banking and finance, living and working in Sydney, Singapore, New York and London. Australian by birth, Clare has revelled in exploring and immersing in differing cultures, learning and absorbing, and synthesizing the best of all.
