Osteopath, Sports Therapist & Clinical Pilates

I have worked in the health and fitness industry for the last three decades with an absolute passion, graduating as an osteopath from the London School of Osteopathy and Greenwich University with teaching qualifications. The latter enabled me to work for many years within the adult education sector, teaching ITEC sports massage and other associated therapies. I also trained for 3 years with the prestigious UCLH Trust as an Adult Nurse. During this time I had various placements in different departments of amazing London hospitals which have created special areas of interest in my Osteopathy practice.

I am a clinical Pilates instructor; trained in reformer, mat-work and studio equipment with the Australian Physiotherapy Pilates Institute (APPI) along with other traditional Pilates training institutes. This gives me valuable skills to incorporate with my Sports Therapy background to continue to treat my osteopathy patients, by then rehabilitating them with exercise as part of their journey back to wellness.

As an osteopath, I also have an interest with working with pre and post-natal women, women’s health issues, and children, using a combination of structural, cranial and visceral techniques if this is appropriate for my patient.

When not working I enjoy keeping fit, being in nature, singing and listening to music. Visiting exhibitions and eating lovely food with friends.
